There is a lot of uncertainty these days. This mindfulness group will focus on practicing mindfulness and breathing to relieve anxiety and stress to live fully in the present moment
This mindfulness group runs for three weeks with a live, 30-min zoom or in person option on Tuesday evenings. Sessions are recorded, so you can engage live or anytime after they are uploaded to online studio each week. You’ll also receive a bonus recorded practice each week.

In person COVID precaution per IL mandate: Limited in person spots available. Mats will be placed about six feet apart. Masks must be worn while in studio but can be taken off while on mat. All common spaces will be cleaned after each in person class or session.

In this series we will practice mindfulness and breathing to ground to relieve anxiety and stress to live more in the moment.
A practice of mindfulness is a very powerful way to relieve stress, decrease cortisol levels (the stress hormone), have beneficial affects on anxiety & depression, calm the nervous system/brain, improve sleep and more.
You also have to option to use essential oils in this practice - when used together the aromatherapy can enhances the benefits of mindfulness making it even more beneficial in the calming effects.
I’m a 500 HYI, 200 RYT and Certified Trauma – Sensitive HYI. I started New Life Yoga because I have a passion for helping people be healthy and find a thriving purpose filled life!
I’m not perfect – far from it – struggling with chronic back pain, battling shame and having wrestled on and off with anxiety. But that’s OK. God continues to pour His love on me through the practice of Holy Yoga and bring healing to all of these areas of my life and I want as many other people as possible to experience that as well! Throughout my life I have been a teacher, barista, manager, social justice fundraiser, and volunteer and now I am a certified yoga instructor. I love my husband and the hectic adventure filled life we have with our 3 boys.
I have lived in MN, CA & IL, traveled to Nepal, Thailand, Mexico, Turkey, Tanzenia, Kenya and even Uganda where I lived for 2 ½ months to adopt our middle son! I love coffee, experiencing nature, adventures, and deep connections with others. I look forward to helping you find health and life however I can!
