Mindfulness & Breath
Mindful Breathing is the focus on this month's mindfulness group.
Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention on purpose to the present moment without any judgment on what you are experiencing.
Come BE present and breath with me.
This is a Holy Yoga mindfulness group that meets for 3 weeks live over zoom for 30 min each time.
This class is great for anyone! There is the option to use essential oils too!
You can choose to use essential oils in this practice - individually the benefits of mindfulness or essential oils can be amazing ways relieve stress and find the calm. When used together the aromatherapy can enhances the benefits of mindfulness making it even more beneficial in the calming effects.
This practice can be a very powerful way to relieve stress, decrease cortisol levels (the stress hormone), have beneficial affects on anxiety & depression, calm the nervous system/brain, improve sleep and more.
Group will be on Tuesday evenings - June 1st, 8th and 15th at 8:00 pm (central time).
You will also receive a bonus practice each week!
The bonus practice will be posted to the mindfulness June course here on our online studio every week. You will have your own personal login access to the mindfulness with essential oils group here on the online studio for the whole month of March. You can practice when you want and as many times as you want throughout the month of March.
Only $20 for six guided practices. Each live session lasts about 30 min and takes place via Zoom (zoom link is in the welcome and will be emailed to you).
I’m a 500 HYI, 200 RYT and Certified Trauma – Sensitive HYI. I started New Life Yoga because I have a passion for helping people be healthy and find a thriving purpose filled life!
I’m not perfect – far from it – struggling with chronic back pain, battling shame and having wrestled on and off with anxiety. But that’s OK. God continues to pour His love on me through the practice of Holy Yoga and bring healing to all of these areas of my life and I want as many other people as possible to experience that as well! Throughout my life I have been a teacher, barista, manager, social justice fundraiser, and volunteer and now I am a certified yoga instructor. I love my husband and the hectic adventure filled life we have with our 3 boys.
I have lived in MN, CA & IL, traveled to Nepal, Thailand, Mexico, Turkey, Tanzenia, Kenya and even Uganda where I lived for 2 ½ months to adopt our middle son! I love coffee, experiencing nature, adventures, and deep connections with others. I look forward to helping you find health and life however I can!
